The Phantom of Spira is a text-based MMORPG set in a vast and immersive universe filled with magic, danger, and discovery. Designed to run entirely through Google Drive, the game combines the power of Google Sheets and Google Docs to deliver a sandbox RPG experience full of freedom, strategy, and depth.

Explore nine unique realms, each with its own environment, factions, and lore. Whether you’re hunting rare mobs, equipping legendary gear, or bouncing between planes of existence, you forge your path and shape your character's destiny.

Guided by a Dedicated DM

Each session is run by a Dedicated Dungeon Master (DM) who acts as a guide and referee. The DM does not narrate a story, but:

• Helps you understand game systems

• Describes the outcomes of your actions

• Controls NPCs and mobs

• Advises on what is or isn’t allowed

• Keeps sessions flowing smoothly and fairly

• They’re there to support your adventure—not direct it.

The entire game is built using Google Sheets and Google Docs, allowing players to play, manage characters, and explore the world directly through their Google Drive.

Google Sheets:

• Character Sheets with automated stats and dropdowns

• Quest Trackers to follow your active and completed missions

• Drop-down Menus to:

• Equip gear from your backpack

• Navigate towns, worlds, and shops via the Main Directory

• Choose mobs from the Mob Finder

• Select classes, races, and other character options

• Automated Formulas calculate stats like HP, ATK, DEF, XP, and level

• Cross-sheet linking allows data to be synced across files

• Currency is tracked manually by the player, with DM verification

Google Docs:

• Deep lore and background stories

• Rulebooks, mechanics, and gameplay guides

• Everything is accessible from desktop or mobile—play anywhere Google Drive goes.
